Perfect Colors For Your Web Design

Published on March 1, 2008 No CommentPrint This Post Print This Post

A common problem when designing logos or color schemes for a website is getting the colors to match just perfectly. Today, while designing a website for a friend, I came across a tool that I’ve added to my web designing arsenal. It’s called ColorPic.

ColorPic lets you determine the precise color (RGB, hex, and others) of any object that you can see on your screen. The bottom portion of the box, above, is a magnifier so you can get pixel perfect selection. It also lets you store “palettes” of colors so that you can come back to them later. This is a great tool that I’m glad I found. If you need a free color picker, look no further.
