Simply-Basic.com to Get a (much needed) Face Lift

Published on November 16, 2007 2 CommentsPrint This Post Print This Post

I’m still working hard on updating the theme for Simply-Basic.com. I’m very pleased with the progress so far, especially since I’ve been pretty busy lately. But the good news is that the hard part is done. Now I’m just tweaking fonts, images, side bar info, etc. I’m hoping to have the theme done by next weekend. I’ve been building and testing the theme on my local installation of wordpress. The website may be down off and on for a few hours while I’m updating files and making sure everything is working. So that’s the news for today, I’ll make sure to give a few hours notice before I start the update next week.

    Great work mate!

Just one suggestion. Could we have no ads. :)

Otherwise the theme is excellent. Really clean and clear.

Actually, the theme hasn’t been updated as of writing this comment. LOL, I’m still working on it. Yeah, the big ad up top bugs me. That’ll be gone in the theme update. I’ll still have a few, but it’ll be integrated a lot better. Hey, can’t hurt to get a free drink every now and then, right? :)

I suppose I should clarify. I’m working on my theme update entirely on my local installation of Wordpress on my home PC. Readers won’t notice any difference till I get all (most?) of the bugs worked out.
