In the world of simple WordPress plugins, my Admin Favicon plugin surely ranks right up there at the top. I’m happy to say that between the plugin’s home here on Simply-Basic and it’s home at WP-Extend it has been downloaded over 1,000 times!
It also just got a nice review by Ronald at Weblog Tools Collection. I’ve added a link to the video on the plugins page. If you haven’t heard of “Admin Favicon” yet, it’s a plugin that allows you to add a custom favicon to your WordPress administrative console. It’s a simple solution for a simple problem!

I just wanted to apologize for letting a whole week go by without updating! I’ve been fortunate this past week to have had a break from classes and have been working on three website design projects. One was a personal site for a friend that went pretty quick, one is a small business that I’m still working on, and another is an online store which uses WordPress and the the Market Theme to make quite an interesting store. I’m not quite done but it has been quite a learning experience. I’ve become much more familiar with custom fields the customizing pages then I was before!

The past several weeks I’ve been working on mySupport, a new service that provides free, personal tech support for beginners. I’m proud to announce that after several weeks of internal testing, it’s finally launching into beta mode and is ready to start accepting user registrations.

I’m happy to announce that I am switching hosts. I’m going to begin the process today and have it done as soon as possible. Hopefully the switch will be fairly transparent to you guys, but you may notice a few glitches here and there. Once I’m switched the stability of this site should improve a lot. Here goes nothing!
