FunContact for Windows Mobile (and how Simply-Basic readers can get it for free!) May 7 2008 | 5 Comments

FunContact, made by VITO Technology, is a contact manager for Windows Mobile that replicates the look and feel of the popular iPhone interface. After trying it out, I’m quite impressed! FunContact costs $19.95, but VITO Technology has agreed to give it away for free to a few lucky Simply-Basic readers!

Wanna get it for free?

Here’s how: a few readers will receive a free copy of FunContact or any other software of their choice from iWindowsMobile.com for the best feedback (left in the comments) as to what to improve or add to FunContact in the next version. That’s right, it’s that simple.…

Admin Favicon Exposure Apr 7 2008 | Be First to Comment!

In the world of simple WordPress plugins, my Admin Favicon plugin surely ranks right up there at the top. I’m happy to say that between the plugin’s home here on Simply-Basic and it’s home at WP-Extend it has been downloaded over 1,000 times!

It also just got a nice review by Ronald at Weblog Tools Collection. I’ve added a link to the video on the plugins page. WordPress 2.5 Public Release Mar 29 2008 | 5 Comments

WordPress 2.5 was released to the public today in an announcement apparently made at WordCamp Dallas. Along with the public release comes face lift for WordPress.org.
