So I’ve been using my PDA device running Windows Mobile 6.0, and I’ve been looking for some free software. I haven’t found a ton, but two sites seemed pretty good: Freeware PocketPC and Freeware PPC both have a decent selection of software for your device running Windows Mobile. I’ve already downloaded a few themes and software with out any problems. Anybody have any other suggestions for finding free mobile phone software?

Anyone who has looked into blogging has heard of Wordpress. Jeffro, over at Jeffro2pt0 is airing his first edition of Wordpress Weekly tomorrow, Friday, at 9PM EST. I don’t listen to that many Podcasts, but this one looks interesting. It lasts for an hour and will take place most Friday nights. Topics will revolve around Wordpress issues and news, such as themes, plugins, and other news. Listeners can also call in and ask questions, so if you’ve had any questions about Wordpress related items, call in! Check out his blog post for more details.

The start of a new year! Simply-Basic.com has only existed for four months, and I’m very pleased with the way things have been going. Maintaining a blog is demanding. Regular updates requires a significant amount of time. For example, I’m traveling for this week and next, so I’m posting this from my new PDA running Windows Mobile 6. It’s a cumbursome undertaking, yet weeks with unexplained updates will lose a good portion of regular readers.

Since the new year is beginning, it’s the perfect time to set some goals for Simply-Basic.com. And since unspoken goals rarely ever get acomplished, here are my goals for Simply-Basic.com for 2008:

• create a mobile-friendly version of the blog
• finish tweaking the theme…
