Buy and Sell Text Links Easily with TNX.net

Web publishers and advertisers alike are always looking for new sources of revenue and advertising. The other day I came across TNX.net: Text Links MarketPlace, a service that facilitates the purchasing and selling of text links. Although there are other services available that do similar things, TNX has several features for publishers and advertisers that make advertising process simple, yet still able to allow precise advertisement control.

For Web Publishers

The main advantage of using TNX for webmasters is that you are able to sell links on every page on your website, rather then just your home page. While other services only have site-wide links, dynamic page links greatly increase the earning potential of your website. Also, with TNX’s unique control panel, you are able to dynamically control which links show up on which pages so that they are more contextually oriented. However, since TNX is not actually contextually based, it is compatible with Adsense and other contextually based advertising programs. Also, webmasters can also sign up for the TNX affiliate program to receive 13.3% of any referral’s income.

For Advertisers

Advertising with TNX appears to be quite simple. Advertisers buy “points” that they can use to purchase links on various websites. Currently points are $0.82 per 1,000 (when your spend $50 or more). Right now users can get 5,000 free points just for signing up. If you’ve ever wanted to try out an advertising system, this is a great way to “try before you buy”.

Creating advertising campaigns with TNX is very easy (see the above screenshot). You can chose the category of the websites you want to advertise on, limit it by number of backlinks, PR, geographics, and others.

So What

Even though some text links programs have lost some of their popularity, TNX.net, the text links marketplace, has over 53,000 users and sells almost 17,000 links per hour! Why? Because it makes advertising for webmasters and advertisers alike a simple process. I plan on trying them out myself for a little while and seeing how it does. If you’ve ever thought trying out an advertising program, TNX is a good place to start.

Overall I really like the TNX program. It is a great service and it works very well. However, it was really confusing to learn how to use the system.

@Dmitry: I agree, there was a learning curve for TNX, especially when adding the advertising code as a publisher. They need a way to shorten the code up or make it into a plugin for WordPress (in my case).

  3. I have been using textlinkbokers but lately I have not been doing well there. Maybe it is time to look elsewhere for this extra income from my site.
