I’ve recently been working on a project that is going to require a tour to show visitors how to get started. While searching for an easy way to do this, I came accross Amberjack. Amberjack is a free way to create tours of your website. It’s also extremely easy.

To create a tour of your website you simply use the Tour Wizard. The wizard lets you easily set the URLs for each page of the tour and tweak a few other settings. When you are done, Amberjack spits out a few pieces of code that you paste into your web site’s HTML file. You add captions for the tour directly into the outputted HTML code, which is easily marked for you to see.

Overall, Amberjack looks like an interesting way to create simple site tours. It’s not as powerful as it’s commercial counterparts, but you can’t beat the price.
